Corded power meets cordlessconvenience with the 18V LXT Brushless Compact Router Kit, model XTR01T7. The18V LXT Router has an efficient Makita BL™ Brushless Motor for up to 50% longerrun time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. The kit includes twoefficient 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries, and each reaches a full charge in only 45minutes – the fastest charge-time in the category – for less downtime andincreased productivity.

The XTR01T7 is engineered for afull range of cabinetry and woodworking applications. It has a variable speedcontrol dial (10,000 – 30,000) RPM) to match the speed to the application, withelectronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load and soft startfeature for smoother start-ups and better accuracy. Convenience featuresinclude the smooth rack-and-pinion fine depth adjustment system for moreprecise settings, dual L.E.D. lights to illuminate the work surface, and aquick release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and baseremoval/installation. The kit includes a plunge base, and additional bases andattachments are available (sold separately). For users of corded Makita CompactRouters (models RT0700C, RT0701C), the bases used with these corded routers arefully compatible with the XTR01T7. In addition, the XTR01T7 easily connects toMakita vacuum cleaners with the optional dust nozzle for improved dustextraction.
