The Makita 10” Dual-Bevel SlidingCompound Miter Saw with Laser and Stand (model LS1019LX) combines capacity,accuracy and efficient dust extraction in a more compact size, with a unique2-Steel Rail Sliding System that offers a reduced footprint for operation flushagainst a wall. The innovative direct-drive gearbox and guard system isengineered for increased vertical cutting capacity of baseboard (5-1/4”) andcrown molding (6-5/8” nested), the largest in its class. It will also crosscuta 4x12 at 90 degrees. The saw miters 0° to 60° left and right, with positivestops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45° and 60° (left or right). The bevel lock islocated in the front of the saw for easy access and quick adjustments from 0°to 48° (left and right).

The saw is powered by a 15 AMPdirect drive motor with soft start, a key point of difference. Direct driveenables smoother start-ups and consistent, constant power with no belts to slipor replace. The electric brake provides added convenience. In addition, theelectronic speed control maintains constant speed under load for smoother,higher-quality cutting.

Additional features include ahigh-quality 60T carbide-tipped blade, with a see-through blade guard systemfor greater visibility of the blade and line-of-cut. The built-in laserindicates the line-of-cut whether the blade is turning or not, and offersmicro-adjustments for precise “left-of-blade” or “right-of-blade” cutting. Forimproved dust extraction it has an improved dust collection capability for usewith a bag (included) or vacuum (sold separately). It also has a large-sizedaluminum base that improves the stability of cutting stock for more efficientcutting.

Model LS1019X is a kit andincludes a 33.7 lbs. durable compact folding stand with transport wheels and aside handle for easier job site portability.
